Welcome to Blushed by Koko. By booking an appointment or using our website at blushedbykoko.com.au, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. Services
Blushed by Koko provides lip blush and permanent makeup services, including initial treatments, perfecting touch-ups, and colour refreshes. All services are performed by a certified PMU (Permanent Makeup) artist in Cecil Hills, Sydney, NSW.
Service descriptions, durations, and pricing displayed on our website are indicative and may be updated from time to time. We will confirm the specifics of your service at the time of booking.
2. Bookings and Deposits
- All bookings are made through our online booking system and are subject to availability
- A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The deposit amount will be clearly displayed before payment
- Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received. You will receive a confirmation email with your appointment details
- The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your appointment
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation by you
- More than 48 hours before your appointment — you may cancel or reschedule free of charge and your deposit will be refunded in full
- Less than 48 hours before your appointment — your deposit is non-refundable, as this time slot can no longer be offered to another client
- No-shows — failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit
Cancellation by us
In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment (e.g. due to illness or emergency), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative appointment or a full refund of any deposit paid.
4. Payment
- Deposits are processed securely via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards
- The remaining balance may be paid via card, bank transfer, PayID, or cash on the day of your appointment
- All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable
5. Refunds
Refunds are processed in accordance with the cancellation policy above. Where a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method. Please allow up to 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Refunds for services already performed will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are at our sole discretion, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
6. Health and Safety
Permanent makeup procedures carry inherent risks. To ensure your safety:
- You must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, or skin sensitivities prior to treatment
- We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe the treatment may pose a health risk to you
- You must follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions provided. Failure to do so may affect your results and is not grounds for a refund
Contraindications
We may not be able to perform the service if you:
- Are pregnant or nursing
- Have an active cold sore, skin infection, or open wound in the treatment area
- Have a blood-clotting disorder or are taking blood-thinning medication
- Have had lip filler within the past 4 weeks
- Are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment
7. Results and Touch-Ups
Permanent makeup results vary between individuals based on skin type, lifestyle, and healing. Colour will fade by approximately 30–50% during the initial healing period, which is normal.
A perfecting touch-up appointment (booked separately) is recommended 6–10 weeks after the initial treatment to achieve optimal results. This is a standard part of the process and is charged separately.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Blushed by Koko and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Blushed by Koko will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
